A classic with a twist: the pump

Also referred to as “court shoes”, pumps have been around since the XVII and XVIII century (back when even men wore heels…). An essential wardrobe staple, pumps are considered the perfect “trans-seasonal” accessory: they do just as well in the winter as they do in the spring. The perfect touch for any dressed up, casual, or smart look, pumps are a high-heeled multifaceted version of the little black dress.

A dominating force, the ankle boot has been a fan favorite through the years. Because of their adaptability and day-to-day functionality, ankle boots are popular with women from all walks of life who want to add a little spring to their step. Wear them to add a little height to a casual outfit or spruce up a workplace attire...the choice is yours! Plus, ankle boots also come with an added bonus: you can find them with both high-end or affordable pricetags.

Pro tip: Don’t be afraid to go all out: textures, hardware, and even colored leathers have been making an appearance this season. When it comes to shape, we suggest you opt for a square-toe boot. Doric leather boots, anyone? 

A ladylike classic: the strappy sandal

This easy to wear silhouette has stood the test of time and is still a top contender when it comes to women’s footwear. The great thing is, you can play around with the heel shape and size to give your own pair a little je ne sais quoi that contrasts their mostly minimalistic look. 

Pro tip: Choose thin straps that go over the bridge of your foot and opt for knots and wraps instead of buckles. When it comes to heels, choose anything from classic blocks to an all-time favorite: the classic stiletto. When in doubt, say “YES!” to our Lily heels!
